DART
At New Horizons Shelter & Outreach Centers, we are dedicated to reducing domestic violence and supporting victims through our DART Program (Domestic Abuse Reduction Team) Our Victims Service Coordinator collaborates closely with local law enforcement at City Hall to provide intensive case management and follow-up for high-risk cases and those facing repeated incidents of domestic violence.
Services Offered
- Collaborative Support: The DART Program pairs advocates with local law enforcement officers, ensuring victims receive comprehensive support during difficult times. Officers visit victims to offer assistance, resources, and enhanced safety.
- Intensive Case Management: Our team works diligently to assess individual needs and create tailored plans for safety and healing, ensuring that victims feel empowered and supported.
- Community Focus: The DART Program aims to reduce domestic violence through a united effort, enhancing safety for families and officers alike. Together, we strive to make La Crosse a safer place for all.
